Classic Banana Bread

2 Eggs

(50g Each)

70g Melted Butter

130ml Milk

You will need:

2 Ripe Bananas, Mashed

cake batter in baking tray


Preheat oven to 160°C fan-forced or 180°C conventional. Lightly grease a 20cm loaf tin.


Empty contents of the banana bread mix into ta bowl. Add eggs, milk, butter, and mashed bananas. Mix with a wooden spoon until combined. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf tin. 


Take one additional banana and cut it length ways into slices. Take two or more of the slices and place them on top of the banana bread mixture to decorate to your taste. 


Bake for 50-55 minutes. Banana bread is baked if it springs back when lightly touched in the centre or when a inserted skewer comes out clean. Allow banana bread to cool in pan for 5 minutes, before transferring onto a wire rack to cool completely.
