Lemonade Scones

You will need:

3 1/2 Cups (440g) The Natural Baking Co Self Raising Flour

1 Cup (250ml) Thickened Cream

1 Cup (250ml) Lemonade

Jam & Cream to Serve

Preheat:

  1. Preheat the oven to 200⁰C Conventional or 180⁰C Fan forced. 

Mix:

  1. Place measured amounts of flour, cream and lemonade into a bowl and mix gently with a spatula. *Do not overmix the dough

  2. Knead the dough for about 10 seconds or until combined

  3. Roll the dough to approx. 2.5cm in thickness.

  4. Using a rough cutter, cut out desired amounts of rounds. Place scones onto prepared baking tray, allowing sufficient space between to spread.

Bake:

  1. Brush some milk on the top of each scones and bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden and well risen.

  2. Transfer to a wire rack to cool.

Decorate:

  1. Serve with Jam & Cream.
